Accounting Analyst

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for managing various financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain accurate financial records.

- Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure all transactions align with company standards.

- Oversee billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing for clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Utilize accounting systems and tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

- Prepare financial reports and documentation to support organizational goals.

- Manage investment banking transactions and related accounting tasks effectively.

- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.

- Proficiency in using accounting systems and tools.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with investment banking and related financial tasks.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
