Job SummaryUnder direct supervision, provides assistance to the operational support of ECMC's external collection agency partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Creates reports for internal and external use including Daily Performance reports, Weekly Placement by Performance reports and Monthly reports
- Acts as resource for staff and external agencies for updates
- Assists in researching and reviewing account issues
- Researches rehabilitation balance discrepancies
- Responds to telephone calls, voicemails, emails and written correspondence from external agencies
- Assists external agencies in Direct Loan Consolidation process
- Manages balance discrepancy report and works with lenders for additional funding on Rehabilitation accounts
- Manages relationships with external collection agencies
- Tracks, researches and resolves agency-related issues
- Complies with all ECMC Group Policies
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Data entry experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Post-secondary degree
- Knowledge of the student loan industry

The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, peer and market benchmarks, and geographic location.
This position is classified as hybrid and requires attendance on designated in-office days.
