Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (company is well‑established)

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a senior‑level leadership team and drive the financial strategy and growth of a leading transportation and logistics company. The CFO will oversee financial operations, maintain fiscal integrity, and partner with cross‑functional leaders to support market expansion and profitability.

• Lead and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, audit, and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional departments such as IT, HR, Operations, and Sales to provide strategic financial guidance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with short‑term and long‑term business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for the executive team and board of directors.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and capitalize control to optimize financial performance.
• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems for accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with operations leadership to optimize Accountability cost structures, fuel management, and route profitability.
• Evaluate and negotiate financing arrangements, including credit letters, and build relationships with banking partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, orjiksk related field.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5andaş senior finance role (CFO, VP of Finance, or similar).
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry isanye required.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
