Job DescriptionThe Portfolio Manager partners with Relationship Manager(s) to successfully manage a portfolio of Corporate Banking – Industrials and Packaging credit relationships. The role focuses on growing revenue as directed by senior management by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include underwriting all types of credit account exposure, managing an assigned credit portfolio, and making independent calls on the assigned portfolio of relationships.
Additionally, the role provides customer service, participates in joint sales calls with Relationship Managers, and identifies customer needs.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of commercial/corporate lending and credit standards, policies, procedures, and products
- Strong relationship management and business development skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
