Director of Tax and Accounting

This is a full-time, on‑site role for a Director of Tax and Accounting located in the Greater Minneapolis‑St. Paul Area. The Director will oversee all tax compliance processes, prepare and review tax‑related documents, and ensure adherence to tax regulations. Responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, the role includes preparing financial reports, handling budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards.

The Director will also provide strategic tax planning advice, identify areas for optimization, and collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Opportunity for equity throughout ecosystem.

• Build Tax and Accounting practice tools and back office
• Be the core relationship manager for clients
• Manage work loads and processes
• Handle client requests
• Close sales opportunities
• Offer outsourced payroll and other software/hardware/etc

• Must be a CPA
• Strong expertise in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation
• Comprehensive knowledge of Tax and Tax Law
• Proficiency in Accounting principles and practices
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Previous experience in a leadership role in tax and accounting within a corporate setting
