We're looking for a talented tax and accounting leader with previous management experience. Our client is in the wealth advisory space and takes a strong, "quality over quantity," approach to work. Our client does not have billable hours.

The right candidate will enjoy advising clients on important tax and accounting issues. The right candidate will also want to grow their career upward, as this position has a path into a bigger position.

• Partner with the Chief Investments Officer for client advisory purposes.
• Advise high net-worth individuals and small business owners who invest with the firm on important tax issues, as well as finance and accounting best practices.
• Review client files and general ledgers and deliver analysis to client.
• Complete accounting and bookkeeping in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and review annual tax filings.
• Manage and develop a team of four people in tax and accounting related duties.
• Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
• Assess all business transactions and prepare accurate reports on your findings.
• Coordinate with employees on income tax research and planning.

• CPA preferred, not required.
• 7+ years of client facing tax experience with a variety of tax and accounting issues.
• Strong professional communication, both verbal and written.
• Previous and recent experience in tax.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
