You'll step into the right-hand role supporting an established international manufacturer entering a milestone year in business— a year of unification, process refinement, and fresh beginnings with a brand-new audit relationship. This is a chance to own U.S. GAAP financials in a multi-entity environment (U.S., German parent, Mexican subsidiary), lead and develop a transactional accounting team, partner cross-functionally with SG&A leaders, and play a key role in shaping processes, controls, and audit readiness.

• Oversee monthly and yearly close activities across the business
• Review accounting entries and ensure overall financial accuracy
• Monitor revenue timing, inventory activity, and related account reconciliations
• Research accounting topics and propose updated guidance
• Summarize monthly financial results for key stakeholders
• Support additional close tasks as needed
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for leadership review
• Participate in system projects and test financial process changes
• Approve updated procedures and ensure team training on new workflows
• Partner with department leaders on budget reviews and cost tracking
• Analyze spending trends and highlight efficiency opportunities
• Offer financial insights for business cases and operational decisions
• Lead accounting and payables staff across multiple functions
• Maintain strong controls and support accurate general ledger activity
• Review expenses for compliance with internal and tax guidelines
• Oversee confidential payroll-related accounting entries when needed
• Assist with audit support and preparation of required work papers
• Support compliance with bank, tax, and regulatory requests
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of hands‑on accounting experience
• SAP experience (required)
• Ability to successfully partner across the business

• Salary Range: $120,000–$130,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
