Description Resolution Medical is hiring Summer 2025 engineering interns for a variety of roles! Engineering interns will join the company from May – August during which you will gain experience in a variety of hands-on, relevant projects that have real world impact, while utilizing your education in a medical device development and manufacturing setting. As an intern, you will learn about different functions within Resolution and participate in a variety of social and philanthropic activities throughout the summer.
Job SummaryProvides engineering support for manufacturing and operations activities through collaboration with operations management, production associates, and other engineers. Activities include developing process improvements, lean manufacturing implementation, data collection, and documentation.
Essential Functions- Assist in the continuous improvement of manufacturing product lines.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing processes based on customer needs and applicable guidelines (industrial and government guidelines and/or standards).
- Assist in maintaining and improving lean manufacturing practices.
- Perform data analysis (statistical and practical) and develop appropriate action plans based upon such analysis.
- Develop tooling and test equipment designs for product assembly and testing.
- Duties include task management.
- Communicate progress and decisions to associates and functional manager.
- Support departments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Current or past student in engineering or equivalent technical degree
- Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information
- Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner
- Able to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress
- Ability to perform many different and changing tasks as necessary
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Interns will accrue 1 hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked in accordance with Minnesota State Law.
- Compensation for this internship position will be $25/hr.
