Overview

Resolution Medical is hiring Summer 2025 engineering interns for a variety of roles. Engineering interns will join the company from May - August during which you will gain experience in a variety of hands-on, relevant projects that have real world impact, while utilizing your education in a medical device development and manufacturing setting. As an intern, you will learn about different functions within Resolution and participate in a variety of social and philanthropic activities throughout the summer.

Job Summary

Support the development of new products and improvements to existing products by contributing to design assurance activities. Responsibilities include assisting with the creation and review of design inputs, supporting risk management activities, participating in design verification and validation testing, and helping develop test methods and documentation. Additional activities include analyzing test data, supporting design control deliverables, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain the quality and integrity of product designs.

Essential

Functions
  • Assist in ensuring new and existing product designs meet customer needs and applicable regulatory, industry, and company standards.
  • Support the development, review, and refinement of product requirements and design inputs to ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment with risk management and customer expectations.
  • Support data analysis (statistical and practical) on design verification, validation, and reliability testing results, and help develop action plans based on findings.
  • Communicate project updates, test results, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and the functional manager, including providing reports and documentation required for design assurance activities.
  • Support engineering, quality, and regulatory departments to ensure compliance with internal procedures, design control requirements, and relevant standards.
Qualifications
  • Current or past student in engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • Ability to handle and be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner
  • Able to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress
  • Ability to perform many different and changing tasks as necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Summary Of Benefits
  • Interns will accrue 1 hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked in accordance with Minnesota State Law.
Compensation
  • Compensation for this internship position will be $25/hr.
