Electrical Technician (6-Month Contract – Potential to Convert)
We are partnering with a leading medical technology manufacturer (confidential client) seeking an Electrical Technician to support product development initiatives within their Engineering team.
This is a 6-month onsite contract with the possibility of permanent conversion based on performance and business needs (not guaranteed).
LocationOnsite role. Occasional hybrid flexibility may be available for computer-based work days, but regular onsite presence is expected and required.
What You’ll Be Doing- PCB assembly and cable assembly
- Building prototypes to support product development
- Setting up and operating electronic test equipment
- Executing verification testing and documenting results
- Troubleshooting to component level using diagnostic tools
- Reading and interpreting schematics, assembly drawings, and test procedures
- Collaborating closely with Electrical Design Engineers to resolve technical issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field OR 1–2 years of relevant hands‑on experience
- Soldering experience and IPC certifications preferred.
- Experience with PCB assembly, electronic testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced engineering development environment
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Comfort interpreting technical prints, schematics, and procedures
- Strong work ethic and ownership mindset
- Quality-driven and safety-conscious
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented
