Rani Engineering is looking for a Senior Project Engineer (PE) to join our growing Water Resources team. This role will focus on complex drainage design, stormwater management, and hydrologic/hydraulic (H/H) analysis for a variety of transportation and municipal projects. This role includes the responsibility of training, supporting, and educating others within the department.

Rani Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (PE) in Water Resources to contribute to drainage, stormwater, and H/H analysis work across transportation and municipal projects. The role includes mentoring junior staff and helping leadership maintain project quality and standards.

• Perform H/H modeling and stormwater BMP design using Hydro
  
  CAD, Bentley ORD, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Lead development of design standards for drainage plans, construction documents, and special provisions
• Prepare technical reports, permitting documentation, and cost estimates
• Assist with project proposals and client coordination
• Manage projects and interface with clients
• Deliver high-quality work within budgets and schedules
• Assist in the training and development of junior team members
• Track project status and report out to the Practice Lead
