We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to support internal equipment that will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate should have over three years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in custom automated equipment design. You will work with Solid Works Design and PDM, focusing on project milestones and scopes of work.

Lead Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to support internal equipment that will be installed and commissioned at various sites. The ideal candidate should have over three years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in custom automated equipment design. You will work with Solid Works Design and PDM, focusing on project milestones and scopes of work.

• Support internal equipment installations and commissioning at various locations.
• Design and develop custom automated equipment using Solid Works.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage projects effectively, ensuring all designs meet specified requirements.

• 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering specific to custom automated equipment.
• Proficiency in Solid Works Design and PDM.
• Experience in machine design and automated equipment.

• 7-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7-10 years of experience in designing using Solid Works.
• Experience in new product development.

The Brooklyn Park site specializes in building custom equipment for manufacturing sites. The team consists of approximately 18 Mechanical Engineers, alongside Electrical Design/Drafting and Controls Engineering professionals. The work environment fosters collaboration and innovation in engineering solutions.

This is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
