Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a hybrid Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Minneapolis, MN.

Summary:

They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer that can hit the ground running with a growing team. This team is focused on an individual aspect at the client and are in the process of a huge project. They are focused on migrating from Hadoop to AWS Athena and Snowflake and need someone who can drive this initiative and be strong in Python, SQL, Snowflake and AWS Athena and have expertise in data modeling.

They use Power BI for visualization and take the data from SAP. They need a talented engineer with Hadoop experience but are flexible if they have a GCP or AWS background.

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Expert in Snowflake
• Expert in AWS Athena (they are open to similar platforms)
• Expert in Python
• Expert in SQL
• Expert in Data modeling
• Familiarity in business reporting (Power BI)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to act as a lead and work independently

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
