Technician I or II (Manufacturing)

Contract to hire

1st Shift

Pay Rate – DOQs = $23.00 – $26.50

• Trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electromechanical devices to the component level.
• Continually improve the setup, calibration and test procedures used on the new equipment orders.
• Provide training when necessary to the new build assemblers and test procedures in your area.
• Communicate with engineering on product performance and functionality issues.
• Work closely with all personnel within the department.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.

• 2-year Electronic technical certificate

• 2-year Electronic Technology AA degree

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to the component level.
• Experience in testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation.

• General knowledge of electronic test equipment e.g., Oscilloscope, VOM and other test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components and their usage in electronic circuits.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to the component level.
• Experience in testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation.

• General knowledge of electronic test equipment e.g., Oscilloscope, VOM and other test equipment.
