Description
Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Associate/Principal Engineer, Hydrogeologist, or Scientist in a related field to join our successful team of remediation professionals within our Environmental Services Group. The successful candidate will lead projects and pursuits in the Sediments market, managing a dedicated team of professionals to ensure profitable growth and project execution. Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related field; 7+ years of consulting experience (15+ preferred).
- Master’s Degree may substitute for one year of experience.
- Proven leadership in practice/business growth within remediation markets.
- Expertise in sediment fate and transport, active remediation methods, and regulatory frameworks (CERCLA, RCRA, etc.).
- Strong communication and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $155,000 - $260,000 annually, based on experience and location. Includes base salary, bonus, ESOP, and 401(k). Extensive benefits package covering insurance, wellness, and time off.
Locations & Travel
Multiple U.S. locations including Chicago, Downers Grove, Wallingford, Baltimore, Vancouver, Denver, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Duluth. Travel up to 25%.
