Civil Engineer – Roads & Highways

We are hiring a Civil Engineer to support the design of public infrastructure involving roadway projects!

• Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000

• Receive profit sharing
• Work remotely 80% of the time, but always have a dedicated workstation in the office and come into the office as often as you choose

As a Civil Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the planning and execution of municipal and transportation projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to bring innovative infrastructure solutions to life.

What the Civil Engineer Will Do:

• Lead design efforts for public and private municipal and transportation projects
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies to ensure project success
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project deliverables
• Uphold quality standards and best practices through our QA/QC processes
• Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 2+ years of professional design experience in roadway and/or municipal projects
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Minnesota or on track to become a PE soon
• Experience with Micro Station ORD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or GEOPAK
• Familiarity with MnDOT, counties, and municipalities in Minnesota is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
