Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands‑on LabVIEW Electrical Test Engineer with strong experience in LabVIEW development and electrical test system troubleshooting. This role is LabVIEW‑centric, focusing on developing, debugging, and maintaining automated electrical test solutions while applying solid electrical engineering fundamentals.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, enjoys debugging complex test setups, and is comfortable working onsite with hardware, instruments, and test fixtures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, modify, and maintain LabVIEW‑based automated test applications
- Design and debug electrical test systems for validation, verification, and production testing
- Troubleshoot issues related to:
- Signal integrity
- Hardware–software integration
- Interface LabVIEW code with electrical instruments, including:
- DAQs
- Power supplies
- Multimeters
- Signal generators
- Perform root cause analysis on electrical and test system failures
- Support debugging and optimization of existing LabVIEW test code
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including:
- Electrical engineers
- Hardware engineers
- Manufacturing and test teams
- Document test procedures, software changes, and validation results
- Ensure compliance with internal engineering and quality standards
Skills & Qualifications (Must‑Have)
- 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in electrical test engineering or similar role
- Strong LabVIEW programming experience (core requirement)
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including:
- Circuit analysis
- Analog and digital signals
- Voltage/current measurements
- Experience troubleshooting automated electrical test systems
- Hands‑on experience with test equipment and instrumentation
- Ability to debug both software (LabVIEW) and hardware (electrical systems)
- Comfortable working onsite in a lab/manufacturing environment
