Electrical BIM Specialist

Overview

Ignite Your Career with an exciting opportunity as an Electrical BIM Specialist at HGA in our Minneapolis, MN or Milwaukee, WI office. This role leverages your Revit expertise to support a wide variety of projects across the country, driving precision and efficiency.

• Work under the guidance of the Project Engineer in modeling solutions and construction documents with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
• Produce drawings for electrical designs using Revit.
• Provide information to the Project Engineer for incorporation into design documents.
• Ensure drawings and designs comply with design standards.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
• Keep the Project Manager informed of workload and status of deliverables.
• Work to refine and upgrade Revit standards and best practices.

• Associate’s degree (minimum) in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Technology, with a focus on Revit and BIM Modeling.
• 0–4 years of experience preferred in modeling lighting, power and communications systems for healthcare, commercial, science & technology and/or educational project types.
• Proficiency with Revit software and excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 or other Building Codes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

The pay range listed aligns with the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s benefit programs including an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs.

Salary Range: $31.30–$37.54/hour or $65,100–$78,100 annually,
depending on qualifications and experience
