This role is ideal for a licensed or license‑track electrical engineer with 7–20 years of experience and a readiness to own projects and foster client relationships. You’ll serve as a true project manager in coordinating all aspects of MEP design across diverse market sectors, while also mentoring junior teammates and identifying new opportunities for Steen to serve and shine.

• Lead project design and execution—from kickoff through construction administration.
• Serve as the client’s trusted point of contact for project updates, problem‑solving, and progress to plan.
• Meet with owners, architects, and engineers to define project needs and system requirements.
• Develop schematic design concepts, metering strategies, and power distribution planning.
• Oversee and verify load calculations, system layouts, details, and specifications.
• Review, mark up, and produce detailed construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
• Manage scope, schedule, and resources, and elevate potential overages as needed.
• Lead peer review and QA processes to ensure every set meets the meticulous standard of The Steen Way.
• Perform site visits and field observations to ensure systems are being implemented as designed.
• Build and maintain client relationships that result in expanded and new business opportunities.

• A degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–20 years of experience in electrical design or project management.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Office 365, and load software.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trust with teammates, clients, and partners.
