Job Summary: The Sr. SAP ISU BTP Engineer provides senior‑level technical leadership within the Integration & Edge Systems domain, enabling engineering excellence across a complex Customer Information System (CIS) transformation program. Operating with broad independence, this role leads environment engineering, infrastructure design, integration support, and the resolution of complex escalated issues across upstream and downstream systems. The engineer collaborates with architects, principal engineers, technical leads, and cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that meet long‑term operational standards and support the full transformation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise integrations to existing applications using standard integration patterns that enforce strong system boundaries and interfaces.
  • Reverse‑engineer and modernize ACE‑based integration flows to align with RISE and SAP BTP patterns.
  • Troubleshoot interface errors and support multiple testing cycles.
  • Partner with technical architects to ensure alignment with SAP standards.
  • Lead platform environment engineering activities across staging, automation, monitoring, and migration phases.
  • Design and implement infrastructure provisioning processes, automation pipelines, and platform services independently.
  • Collaborate with architects and technical leads to design, optimize, and ensure compliance for cross‑platform integrations.
  • Diagnose complex infrastructure and application issues and drive resolution across test, QA, and non‑production environments.
  • Lead conversion, migration, and performance tuning efforts across multiple environments during critical program phases.
  • Ensure cybersecurity and regulatory controls are implemented appropriately and recommend remediation where needed.
  • Maintain detailed environment documentation, engineering standards, and reusable patterns for program‑wide adoption.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in platform engineering, Dev Ops, infrastructure, or a related domain.
  • Strong technical proficiency with the ability to independently solve complex engineering problems.
  • Demonstrated experience designing scalable, secure environments.
  • Strong cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Hands‑on SAP BTP and IS‑U experience
    ; utilities industry experience preferred.
  • Strong integration development skills.

  • Experience supporting large‑scale SAP transformation programs.
  • Background working in utilities or energy‑sector IT environments.
  • Prior work in hybrid multi‑environment engineering or edge systems.
