Civil Project Engineer - Transportation

Overview

Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Active Transportation team in our Minneapolis office. As an Active Transportation Project Engineer you will assist our transportation, traffic and municipal project managers in coordinating, planning, scheduling and execution of bicycle and pedestrian design projects.

• Performs detailed design computations
• Performs preliminary layout, modeling and design
• Researches and prepares rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies
• Assists with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university or closely related
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• 4+ years  progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including transportation and municipal infrastructure
• Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, GeoPAK Drainage, Hydro
  
  CAD, P8 and GIS
• Must possess a valid drivers license and their own transportation

You will be reimbursed for business-related travel.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
