- Assist in the planning, budgeting, scheduling, conducting or coordination of detailed phases of the engineering work on a project.
- Serve as lead designer in engineering aspects of a project.
- Assist in training Project Engineers.
- Assist with the acquisition of technical support personnel.
- Perform work which involves conventional engineering practice and may include a variety of complex features, including conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, or difficult coordination requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager during all phases of a project.
- Review drawings and specifications and recommend revisions where required.
- Request and monitor all data pertinent to the project design, including surveys, codes, soils, and other required information.
- Review shop drawings for work they have designed. Respond to field questions on design.
- Perform peer reviews.
- Maintain quality, budgets, schedules, etc.
Education Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University, Master’s degree preferred.
Other Requirements:
- 10 years of project engineering and management experience.
- Registered PE or SE – or the ability to obtain license in 1 year.
- Ability to design solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Solid knowledge of structural engineering.
- Strong computer, writing, communication, and team skills are necessary.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience in the design and construction of parking garages.
Annual salary range: $105,000 – $125,000 per year. The final salary offered may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.
