School Registered Nurse

A Minneapolis-based school is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site nursing support two days per week. This contract position focuses primarily on general education students while supporting special education students as needed.

• Administering inhalers and medications as required throughout the day
• Providing basic first aid such as applying Band-Aids
• Conducting hearing and vision screenings for special education students, odd-grade students, and any children included in child find programs
• Collaborating with school staff to maintain health-related documentation and support student well-being

• Active RN licensure with experience in school nursing or pediatric care
• Comfort working directly with both general and special education populations
• Ability to administer routine medications and perform standard screenings
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with school office staff and families

The role supports a student population currently numbering 137, with anticipated growth to 150175 students in the coming year. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to student health and wellness in a dynamic school environment on a part-time basis.
