Wayzata Kids Site Manager at Birchview Elementary (Long Term Sub)

Hours:

8 daily hours (Monday through Friday) from April 20 - June 12.

Salary Range: $68,637 - $75,030 (prorated)

Wayzata Kids is looking for an energetic, well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and responsive Site Manager to lead the daily operations of our Wayzata Kids (before and after school) program at Birchview Elementary School. We seek a candidate who is excited to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment, building positive relationships with school staff, program staff, students, and families.

• Supervising Wayzata Kids staff.
• Overseeing the implementation of program processes and procedures.
• Adjusting curriculum based on student needs.
• Mediating staff conflicts at the assigned site.
• Collaborating with the Youth Classes Specialist to offer youth classes at the site.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  An Associate's Degree in School‑Age Care or related field; at least five years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience with School Age Care site leadership, Certification, and working with students with special needs is preferred.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, the ability to build relationships, and experience in conflict resolution.

• School‑Age Care education principles and practices.
• Supervisory principles and training techniques.
• Conflict resolution techniques.
• Good knowledge of child development (preschool - fifth grade), restitution, and teaching of social skills.
• Customer service and public relations principles.
• Applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
