About The Job

As a teaching specialist for a course, duties include leading the laboratory component of a course, grading lab assignments, homework, and exams, administration of the class (through Canvas) and communication with students, and working with the primary instructor on course development.

• 20% instructing lab
• 20% lab preparation
• 20% lab grading
• 20% homework and exam grading
• 20% lab development

This position is not eligible for H-1B visa sponsorship.

• PhD in Physics
• Experience with the design and implementation of quantum mechanics labs.

Pay Range: $62,400 - $70,720 (100%-time, annual rate); depending on education/qualifications/experience.
