Special Education K-12
Required Experience:
Education and Experience:
* Master's degree in relevant field
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant education experience
* Knowledge of curriculum and instruction best practice
Skills Required:
* Current on federal and state legislation pertaining to special education laws and due process
* Advanced listening, communications and organization skills
* Social perceptiveness and strong people skills
* Knowledge of program evaluation and improvement
* Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and review the effectiveness of programs and services in collaboration with building and district administration
* Provides program support to building teams and staff
* Assists with development and implementation of district goals, procedures and policies as they relate to the Special Education Department
