What You'll Do

• Lead a class of 17 22 students through a full day of learning, exploration, and growth.
• Build a classroom culture rooted in respect, high expectations, and joy.
• Use your passion for teaching to plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons.
• Differentiate instruction so that every student gets what they need to thrive.
• Collaborate closely with support staff and fellow teachers because we're all in this together.
• Use data to make smart decisions and drive student growth.
• Communicate with families regularly you're a team.
• Be present. At recess, during breakfast, and in the in-between moments where real relationships are built.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Licensed to teach elementary education in Minnesota (or eligible by your start date).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong willingness to participate in regular coaching opportunities with our team
• A desire to work with students from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience teaching in urban schools or charter settings.
• Background in working with English Language Learners.
• Fluency or proficiency in Spanish or Somali.

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary with a Bachelor's degree: $45,276
• Starting salary with a Master's degree: $50,392
