Student employment is managed by Augsburg Human Resources in partnership with student supervisors from across campus.

• Supporting faculty, students, and classes using the printer and software.
• Training/tutoring of students on procedures and how to work with equipment and software
• Transfer of skills to potential future coordinators by creating training information (videos, web information, etc.)
• Create and maintain web presence - for both in-house and external use
• Assist in the academic use of the printer and potential writing of reports/grants
• Connect with Admissions regarding tours for prospective students or community organizers
• Learn about new innovations of 3d printing and that can be brought to Augsburg
• Connect with other 3d printer coordinators from other schools/companies to learn best practices

Open to all students, including those without workstudy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Rate of Pay: $15.97/hour
• Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
• Not eligible for health insurance benefits

• Desire to learn more about 3d printing and helping others with 3D printing
• Responsible with strong organizational skills
• Good listener and exceptional communicator, able to work with faculty and students
• Experience with CAD software or ability and willingness to learn
• Ability to adjust schedules as needed to support use of 3d printer
• Ability to take feedback and make appropriate adjustments
