Substitute Teacher; Northwest Metro, St. Cloud & Sartell

Hourly wage range: $21.00 - $25.40

We are seeking a SUBSTITUTE CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Plymouth and West metro area. Substitutes in our Northwest area will be responsible for working at schools in the Fridley, Brooklyn Park, Ramsey, Anoka areas with occasional travel to St. Cloud & Sartell when needed.

• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA, to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm a minimum of three days a week.
• Be willing and able to travel up to 20 miles to different schools within the metro area.
• Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
• Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
• Enjoy working with children!
• Must be okay occasionally traveling to Sartell/St. Cloud.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position and can satisfy the Applicant Background Study as required by state regulations.
• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, and to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
