Childcare Teacher – New Horizon Academy

Join us as a Childcare Teacher at New Horizon Academy in our W Lake St location. The role focuses on nurturing preschool-aged children in a team‑centered, supportive environment.

Job Details

Hourly wage range: $21.50 – $25.90 (DOQ). Hiring bonus eligible.

Schedule:

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Classroom:
Preschool.

All Applicants Must
  • Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA, or otherwise meet MN Rule 3 teacher qualifications.
  • Be able to work a flexible, full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday.
  • Be willing to work 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Have a positive work ethic and a team‑centered attitude.
  • Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
  • Enjoy working with children.
Qualifications
  • Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
  • Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
  • Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, and to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
