School Monitor

Overview

Full Time 182 days/7.5 hours/day.

Hours:

1:00pm - 9:00pm. School Monitors supervise students in and around school grounds including hall monitoring and parking lot duties during, before, and after the regular student day — only during student contact days. Duty hours to be determined by individual sites.

• Supervise students in and around school grounds including hall monitoring.
• Supervise parking lots during school days. Oversee parking lots to ensure vehicles have valid parking permits. Patrol parking lot to prevent theft.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform a significant amount of walking.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

• $17.34/hour to $19.00/hour
• $17.51/hour to $19.69/hour with AAS degree that is educationally relevant
• $18.14/hour to $20.42/hour with BA degree.
