More than 8,600 diverse student learners are provided an exceptional education experience throughout the district's early learning center, six elementary schools (K‑Grade
5) including both French and Spanish Immersion programs, two middle schools (Grades 6‑8), a high school (9‑12), and the Edina Virtual Pathway online program.
Special Education Teacher (Long-term Substitute)
Dates / HoursMonday‑Friday, 8.0 hours per day from ASAP through June 2, 2026 (dates are approximate and subject to change).
LocationValley View Middle School
License Requirement(s)Academic and Behavioral Strategist license issued through the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) is preferred, but other Special Education licenses may be considered.
Rate of PayThe wage for this position is $279.26 per day. This is a temporary position.
BenefitsEligible employees will participate in the state's pension program, Teachers Retirement Association (TRA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
