Non-Exempt Temporary or Casual Astronomical Observations; Gehrz

Job Duties

• 30% Assist with assembly, maintenance, testing, and use of infrared detection equipment for calibration experiments in the laboratory.
• 50% Astronomical observations at O’Brien and Mt. Lemmon Observatories. Duties will also include analysis of data obtained with these systems.
• 20% Other duties of a similar scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Physics or Astrophysics or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have taken AST 2001.

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
