Job Description

GPAC is partnering with a highly-regarded PK-8th school in North Minneapolis to identify their next 4th Grade Teacher.

Position Summary

The 4th Grade Teacher will provide a learning experience that is culturally relevant, challenging and fun. Candidates should be driven to prepare children for the future by helping them build confidence and a strong sense of self-worth.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• LICENSURE:
  • Option 1:
    Current Minnesota teaching license in content area / grade levels (preferred)
  • Option 2:
    Equivalent knowledge / experience and willingness to obtain licensure

• Experience teaching in an urban public school or charter school setting
• At least two years of experience with a proven track-record of high achievement in the classroom
