Homebound Teachers

  • The purpose of Homebound Instructional Service teachers is to provide ill or injured learners, K-12, with as normalized an educational experience as possible in order to maintain academic progress and to facilitate a successful transition back to school as quickly as possible.
  • Homebound Tutors assist the student in turning in all assignments to the classroom teachers for credit.
  • Teachers are assigned to work with students in grades 1-12 one hour per daily student absence and will be paid at the hourly flat rate of $28 per hour.

A valid Minnesota teaching license is required.
