Paraeducator Elementary

Position Overview

Para educator Elementary – Anoka‑Hennepin School District. Part‑time, 184 days, 3 hrs/day.

• Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom.
• Support teachers/administration with copy room duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).
• Lunchroom supervision and playground supervision as outlined.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
• Cooperative with students and staff; supervise students; take direction.
• Maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day.
• Lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices, materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

$19.25/hour to $24.05/hour DOQ with K‑12 experience*

$20.40/hour to $25.20/hour with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience*

$21.25/hour to $26.05/hour with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience
