Part-Time 184 days/3 hrs/day

Paraprofessional elementary para educator duties include lunchroom supervision, playground supervision, and copy room. Does not include student instructional support.

• Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom.
• Support teachers/administration with copy room duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and record‑keeping skills.
• Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff.
• Ability to supervise students.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including completing an assigned day.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

$19.25/hr to $24.05/hr – DOQ with K‑12 experience*

$20.40/hr to $25.20/hr – with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience*

$21.25/hr to $26.05/hr – with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience
