Part-Time Daycare Teacher

Overview

We are hiring daycare teachers in downtown Minneapolis! Join the team as an Early Childcare Teacher!

Have you worked in a daycare setting, have a teaching degree, or are looking to work with children in a daycare/preschool setting?

The competitive salary for teachers ranges from $18 to $20 per hour. Salary is determined by your level of education and experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, between the hours of 7am–7pm (with the option to add more days and hours if needed).

• Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children’s interests and needs.
• Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.
• Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• Early childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
• At least six months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred

  Physical Requirements:

• Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
• May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
