AB Staffing is looking for experienced Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited college or university
• Valid State of Minnesota professional teacher certificate with Special Education Endorsement
• Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting special education
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with disabilities, including behavior disorders and learning delays (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and demonstrate initiative
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds

Job Description:

• Caseload and classroom type vary by school location; recruitment specialists will discuss details upon application
• Contract through the 2025/2026 school year, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, following the academic calendar

As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and programs tailored to students’ needs
• Adapt curriculum based on IEPs and learning styles
• Maintain communication with parents and collaborate on strategies
• Create a safe, organized, and positive learning environment
• Manage behavior and ensure a productive classroom atmosphere
• Provide individualized and group instruction using specialized techniques
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
• Modify curriculum and materials according to IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with educators and specialists
• Engage in professional development
• Ensure compliance with regulations and complete documentation

Salary:

$1,800.00 – $2,025.00 per week DOE
