The Long-Term Substitute Second Grade Teacher is responsible for creating rigorous, standards-aligned, and engaging learning experiences that inspire and challenge students. This teacher plays a key role in ensuring that all Hiawatha Academies scholars develop the knowledge, character, and leadership skills necessary to graduate from college and contribute to the common good. The Long-Term Substitute Second Grade Teacher will collaborate closely with grade-level teammates, special education and specialist teachers, and the campus leadership team to support student success.

This position includes lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment of student learning. The assignment is expected to run from February 2026 through May 2026.
