Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of students? Apply to be a Paraprofessional Substitute. The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and support teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans and activities.
Position: Educational Associate Special Education – Substitute
Location: Highlands Elementary
Rate of Pay: $23.00 per hour
Benefits:
- This is a temporary/casual position. Eligible employees will participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA).
- Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
Daily
Schedule:
8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Days per year: 12/16/2025 – 5/29/2026
Qualifications:
- Associate degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits).
Preferred:
- Experience working with students.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication skills.
