Viant is seeking a Technical Marketing Associate with a strong technical foundation to lead marketing initiatives for our Plastics, Metals, and Assembly portfolios—core pillars of our vertically integrated design and manufacturing platform. This role is not just about marketing; it’s about understanding the engineering and manufacturing processes that power Med Tech innovation.

As the business-unit marketing lead, you’ll define growth strategies, shape market positioning, and enable commercial success by bridging technical expertise with creative marketing strategy.

We need a marketing professional who speaks the language of manufacturing and engineering—someone who can translate complex technical capabilities into compelling stories for technical buyers and decision-makers. If you have hands-on experience in manufacturing, engineering, or operations combined with marketing acumen, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

A Typical Work Day May Include:

  • Develop and own integrated marketing strategies for the Plastics, Metals, and Assembly portfolios—anchored in customer needs, competitive differentiation, and market opportunity.
  • Define and continuously refine value propositions, target segments, and growth priorities in partnership with Business Unit Leaders
  • Translate portfolio strategies into actionable annual marketing plans with measurable objectives, KPIs, and ROI targets.
  • Develop technical content and marketing collateral that articulate Viant’s expertise, innovation, and engineering know-how in plastics, metals, and assembly.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create case studies, capability sheets, technical white papers, and proof points
  • Work closely with engineering, project management, D&D teams to capture innovation stories, capacity updates, and new capabilities
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement tools—value proposition decks, customer presentations, technical overviews, and proof-point collateral—that strengthen commercial storytelling.
  • Train and equip commercial teams with the technical content, success stories, and tools to position Viant’s differentiated capabilities across the buyer journey.
  • Partner with Digital and Content teams to design and launch multi-channel campaigns (web, social, email, trade shows) that drive awareness and lead generation.
  • Lead market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and whitespace opportunities within medtech contract manufacturing.
  • Support technology road mapping, new capability launches, and M&A activities

What You Will Need:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience in contract manufacturing, medtech, or industrial sectors, ideally within a CDMO or OEM environment.
