Key Position Details:
The Allina Health Brain and Spine Institute is seeking a Neurologist specializing in Neuromuscular conditions to join our practice at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Provide Neurological clinical oversight of the Neuromuscular center of Excellence
Treat and manage patients with Neuromuscular disorders
Primary practice location Abbott Northwestern Hospital, with potential for additional outreach locations as necessary
Opportunity to participate in research with a fully supportive and collaborative administrative and research teams
EMG team will eventually include 5 PM&R EMG physicians, 2 Neuromuscular-EMG Neurologists, 3 EMG techs, and 1 provider coordinator
H-1B and J-1 visa candidates will be considered

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.
May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
Job Requirements
MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required
Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable

Pay Range
Pay Range: $338,310 to $375,900 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
