Join Our Team as a Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology!

The University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is seeking a passionate and dedicated Obstetric Anesthesiologist to serve as the Medical Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology . This unique role combines part-time administrative leadership with clinical duties, allowing you to make a significant impact in both areas.
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs the Medical Director, you will:
- Lead a dynamic team of 16 faculty members and mentor 8-10 anesthesiology residents annually.
- Drive programmatic growth by developing and implementing innovative strategies across clinical, educational, and research programs.
- Provide clinical services at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, associated with a Level IV NICU.

QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who possess:
- A graduate degree from an accredited ACGME Anesthesiology residency and/or fellowship training program.
- Board eligibility/certification with the American Board of Anesthesiology.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota.
- 5 years of experience in obstetric anesthesia techniques, including TAP blocks (preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on patient care.
This position offers a total of 1.0 FTE , with 0.10 FTE dedicated to administrative duties and 0.90 FTE for clinical service. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values innovation and excellence.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from $420,000 to $575,000 , based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
