The Cancer and Blood Disorders Department is seeking a full-time Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Physician to serve as Program Lead for a newly developed Cell Therapy & Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program
. We have received full institutional approval to pursue FACT accreditation with the goal of expanding care to include cellular and gene therapies and autologous bone marrow transplantation.
This is a 1.0 FTE position with 0.4 FTE of protected time dedicated to the Cellular Therapies/Autologous Transplant Program Lead role and 0.6 FTE devoted to the clinical care of oncology patients. The oncology disease focus will depend on the interests and expertise of the successful candidate.
Children’s Minnesota is a teaching hospital for medical students, residents and fellows from the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic. Academic inquiry and research are highly valued, but not required. We have a robust clinical trial program with active participation in Children’s Oncology Group (COG) trials.
We are seeking a mid‑career physician with a background in pediatric cellular therapies and bone marrow transplant, and a drive for programmatic development.
Qualifications
- M.D., D.O. with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one
- BC/BE in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. We consider a wide range of factors, including skills, education, training, credentials and experience, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
