Optum NY (formerly Optum Tri-State NY) is seeking a dedicated, patient-centric OB/GYN Laborist to join our growing team in Mount Kisco, NY. • Independent practice with strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospital that provides a full range of OBGYN medicine
• Robust in‑house diagnostic testing facility
• Full complement of support teams to assist with patient care
• Excellent access to GYN‑Oncology, Perinatology and NICU physicians

• Provide comprehensive care for women in labor, including monitoring labor progress and managing deliveries
• Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Provide triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions
• Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing updates and education about their care
• Deliver patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health
• Demonstrate professionalism, commitment to ethical principles and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
• Demonstrate systems‑based practice, using system resources to provide care of optimal value
• Attend scheduled departmental and other mandatory meetings and participate on assigned committees
• Assist with departmental recruitment efforts and demonstrate community involvement to promote department, Care Mount Medical and Optum

The salary range for New York residents is $278,500 to $484,500 per year.

• Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or New York application in process
• Board Certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
