Brand new opportunity within a growing, design-oriented commercial architecture firm seeking an Architectural Job Captain to assist in delivering commercial projects. This is an opportunity to move beyond pure drafting and step into a project coordination leadership role, guiding documentation, mentoring junior staff, and working closely with Project Managers and clients. Salary / Compensation$81,000-$125,000
Responsibilities- Grow into a Project Manager role
- Serve as the technical lead on assigned projects
- Coordinate consultants and internal team members
- Take ownership of drawing set quality and completeness
- Support Project Managers with schedule and documentation execution
- Help mentor and guide less experienced staff
- Lead Revit modeling and documentation for small to mid-sized commercial projects
- Produce and coordinate full Construction Document (CD) sets
- Work closely with Project Managers to execute project plans
- Coordinate consultants (structural, mechanical, electrical, civil)
- Review team drawings for accuracy, completeness, and code compliance
- Assist with client meetings and internal project discussions
- Support construction administration tasks as needed
- 6+ years of architectural production experience (more is welcome)
- Experience producing full construction document sets
- Experience with commercial architecture projects
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Experience leading a small team through project documentation is preferred
