Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you a natural leader who loves customer service, organizing a space, and keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Customer Service Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day operations at a busy storage facility. This role is perfect for someone with retail management, hospitality leadership, or property/operations experience who enjoys working independently, being hands‑on, and delivering great service.

If you’re reliable, people-focused, and love keeping things in order — this could be a great fit.

Please note, fully onsite role in Minneapolis. Compensation: $21to $26/hour + Bonus + Permanent Opportunity

What You’ll Do
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, helpful service.
  • Handle new rentals, unit showings, lease agreements, renewals, and move‑outs.
  • Maintain the facility — ensuring units, hallways, and grounds stay clean, safe, and secure.
  • Monitor security systems, complete walkthroughs, and respond to safety issues.
  • Collect payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and keep accurate records.
  • Track unit availability, pricing, and occupancy.
  • Support basic marketing efforts such as signage, online listings, and community outreach.
  • Coordinate repairs or maintenance when needed; conduct routine inspections.
  • Lead and support staff scheduling, onboarding, and training (if applicable to the location).
  • Maintain a safe and compliant workplace and follow company policies.
  • Jump in wherever needed — you’re the go‑to person for daily operations.
What You Bring
  • Experience in retail leadership, property management, facility supervision, or customer service management is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer issues calmly and professionally.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, online platforms).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean background check.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings based on facility needs.
