JOB SUMMARY
Become a part of the North Star Center (NSC) at the Airport - Soon to be the operational heartbeat of MSP! The NSC is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed to keep Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport running smoothly. We’re looking for NSC Intake Coordinators who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving problems. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for operational issues, service requests, incidents, and inquiries from both internal teams and the public.
You’ll collaborate across multiple airport functions, ensuring timely resolutions and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The Intake Coordinator ensures end-to-end solutions across a diverse range of airport functions including Trades, Facilities, Terminal Operations, Energy Management, Landside Operations, Customer Experience, Reliever Airports, Operations Optimization, Integrated Operations, Fleet, Field Maintenance, and Asset Management.
Internal stakeholder and public inquiries are typically received through telephone, and web/text messaging. NSC Intake Coordinator uses multiple sources of information to provide clear, concise and customer-centric responses using the most effective medium for the stakeholder and public. This position involves daily interaction with airport stakeholders and the public either in person, on the telephone or through electronic mediums.
This position requires excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, the ability to clearly enunciate and record audio messages in the English language, the ability to quickly and effectively navigate between computer applications and the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

ACCOUNTABILITES AND FUNCTIONS Intake Coordination- Act as the centralized intake point for operational issues, inquiries, and escalations from internal stakeholders and the public
- Prioritize and address incoming requests using a structured decision-making process
- Provide end-to-end tracking, resolution, and follow-up of all issues, ensuring timely and effective outcomes
- Leverage a curated internal knowledge base developed with input from airport subject matter experts to guide initial solutioning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and support resolution of operational issues that surface through the NSC. Provide insights and assist in solution development to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication and status updates with requestors and relevant stakeholders until resolution
- Support the development and maintenance of NSC protocols and SOPs. Actively participate in structured decision-making by informing and documenting process changes to ensure consistency a clarity across all NSC operations.
