Personal Banker

Blaze is currently hiring for a Personal Banker at our Plymouth branch. As a Personal Banker, you are the frontline of Blaze and a trusted financial guide for Members. You’ll engage directly with members to understand their goals, identify their financial needs, and confidently recommend tailored products and services that empower their financial journey. You’ll be part of a dynamic, experienced team committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

Your role is vital—to support our members’ success and drive Blaze’s growth and mission forward.

Bonus Incentives

Blaze is currently offering a bonus for DNA experience for $5,500 paid over a 2 year period, and $2,000 for Non-DNA experience paid over a 1 year period for all branch and member experience center positions.

Responsibilities
  • Educate members on how to optimize Blaze's services to meet their individual needs
  • Perform duties and responsibilities regarding opening and processing changes on savings, checking, certificate, retirement, legal, and business accounts
  • Oversee consumer loan processes following approved guidelines
  • Create meaningful relationships via excellent service and face-to-face interaction
  • Support your team by taking initiative to meet Blaze's growth objectives

Schedule
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays (Saturday paid 1.5x for hours worked)
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role
Qualifications
  • Passionate about helping others, member‑centric, and goal‑driven
  • Understanding of account opening, lending, and other financial products
  • Comfortable having conversations and making recommendations
  • Seek new ways to serve others in your community, innovative, and thrive on challenges
  • Work well with others, even when things don’t go as planned
  • Enjoy a fast‑paced environment and can multi‑task
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED (required)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in financial services, including opening new accounts, lending, and pipeline management
  • Eligible to obtain an NMLS r within 30 days of hire
  • Proven experience as a personal banker or equivalent; experience in sales and customer service is a plus

We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. The salary range for this position is $25.20–$29.50 hourly. This range reflects the base salary for this position. Other benefits include low‑cost medical (as low as $20 a paycheck), dental insurance, vision insurance, quarterly bonuses, generous vacation and sick time hours, paid leave options, up to 6% 401(k) contribution, and tuition reimbursement.
